COBALT tablets, mineral feed supplement for ruminants

Cobalt is included in the composition of vitamin B12 (it is 4.5% in this vitamin), and at the same time determines the normal digestive process. In addition, cobalt has a specific effect on enzymes: it activates some, inhibits others, stimulates erythropoiesis, improves protein and carbohydrate metabolism. Cobalt is necessary for the microflora of the gastrointestinal tract of animals, which synthesizes group B vitamins.

Lack of cobalt in the body reduces the appetite, so the animal loses weight. Hair - lacks shine, breaks and falls easily. The amount of erythrocytes and hemoglobin in the blood of such animals is too low. Cows give less milk, do not ruminate, absorb protein in the diet less well, cases of retained udders and endometritis increase. Cobalt deficiency is more common in calves. They stop drinking milk, coordination of movements is impaired, and they often die from catarrhal inflammation of the intestines.
Animals become sick with acobaltosis in areas where soil cobalt is less than 3 mg/kg and plants less than 0.05 mg/kg. Cobalt is often deficient in feed from loam, peat and sandy soils. Cobalt should be 4-8 mg in the diet of weaned cows, 7-14 mg of dairy cows. The amount of cobalt in the animal's body can be determined by testing the amount of vitamin B12 in the blood and liver.

Usage: Dissolve 1 tablet in 1 liter of boiling water before use and drink after cooling. It is recommended to drink for 2 weeks:

• For adult large cattle, 250-400 ml per day;
• For calves from 6 months 100-200 ml per day;
• For sheep and goats: 25-50 ml per day
• For lambs from 6 months, 5-12 ml per day.

Side effects: There are no side effects removed by the use of this feed supplement with the specified levels

Note: Do not feed to animals other than those specified in the instructions.

Storage conditions: in a dry, cool, dark place, out of the reach of children and animals, at a temperature from 0 to +30'C.
