*The puncture resistance of the film is measured by the dart drop method. It is a metal dart of a certain weight, hitting the foil from a height of about 2 meters. We start the test with the minimum weight arrow, gradually increasing it until we get a puncture. The weight of the arrow at the time of puncture is actually the puncture resistance of the foil expressed in units of weight, i.e. grams.
It is a reliable test that determines the mechanical strength of a product.
